Readers can now subscribe to Giramondo’s books program and become a patron of independent literary publishing. Giramondo subscribers pay $360 to receive all our new titles for twelve months, as soon as we receive them from the printer. View our forthcoming titles here.

Your subscription allows us to help writers develop their best work, pay for the work of our editorial and design staff, and make bold editorial choices in our publishing program. It provides vital, enduring support at a time of rapidly rising paper and printing costs. In return, you receive first editions of all our new titles – books that will be seen as classics in years to come.

Gift Subscriptions

Subscriptions can be purchased as gifts. You will be prompted to enter the recipient’s email address at the checkout. This creates an account which allows the recipient to receive updates about their supporter plan. The recipient will be sent a welcome email introducing them to their supporter plan and asking them to confirm their postal address.

Subscriptions can also be purchased as gifts for recipients who do not use email. Enter the recipient’s postal address at checkout and indicate in the ‘Order notes’ section that the subscription is a gift. Subscription updates and benefits will be sent to the email address used to place the order.

Duration and Payments

The full cost of your chosen subscription is payable upfront and will renew annually if automatic renewal is selected. You will receive a reminder before your renewal is due, or your subscription is due to expire.

Publication Schedule

Subscribers receive all of the new release book titles published by Giramondo during the time of their plan. The number of titles we publish, and publication dates, are subject to variation – however we expect to publish approximately twelve books, split between fiction, non-fiction and poetry, within any twelve-month period. We post books to supporters as soon as they are available, normally in the month prior to their official publication date.

Philanthropic Support

HEAT Subscriptions

HEAT subscriptions are separate to Giramondo book subscriptions. You can sign up to subscribe to HEAT on the magazine’s website.
