Bonny Cassidy
Bonny Cassidy is the author of three collections of poetry and one book of non-fiction, and is the co-editor of the anthology Contemporary Australian Feminist Poetry. Her debut collection, Certain Fathoms, was shortlisted for the 2012 Western Australian Premier’s Poetry Award, and Chatelaine was shortlisted for the 2018 Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Poetry and the 2018 Queensland Literary Award for Poetry. Bonny teaches Creative Writing at RMIT University and lives in the bush on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, Central Victoria. Her first book of prose, Monument (Giramondo, 2024), was shortlisted for the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards and the Queensland Literary Awards.
