Jennifer Feeley

Jennifer Feeley is the translator of Carnival of Animals: Xi Xi’s Animal Poems and Not Written Words: Selected Poetry of Xi Xi, for which she won the 2017 Lucien Stryk Asian Translation Prize and was longlisted for the 2017 National Translation Award in Poetry. She was awarded a 2019 National Endowment for the Arts Literature Translation Fellowship to translate Xi Xi’s Mourning a Breast, which will be published in 2024. Her other forthcoming translations include Xi Xi’s My City and Tongueless by Lau Yee-Wa. She holds a PhD in East Asian Languages and Literatures from Yale University.
