HEAT Poetry Online is the poetry review website of HEAT Magazine. This website was established in 2010, to address the shortage of outlets for critical review and discussion of Australian poetry collections. It offers a space for in-depth poetry review, for conversation and for interaction around poetry. HEAT Poetry Online is also committed to the support of new voices in literary criticism, and to fostering a creative and critical community for contemporary poetry.

HEAT Poetry Online is published from the the Writing & Society Research Group at the University of Western Sydney, and shares its commitment to contemporary literary and publishing, the accessible and interesting presentation of scholarly research, and a wide-ranging exploration of the social power of writing.

HEAT Poetry Online is edited by Lachlan Brown and Fiona Wright. The website is designed and updated by Jessie Lymn. HEAT Poetry Online is supported by the Literature Fund of the Australia Council.
