Beverley Farmer new editions: Alone and The Seal Woman

Special Offer – Reduced From $64.90

Alone

Set in Melbourne in the late 1950s, and taking place over the course of two days and nights, Beverley Farmer’s debut novel Alone chronicles a young woman’s hopelessness and obsession provoked by the ending of a passionate relationship.

The Seal Woman

The Seal Woman is a portrait of a widow in mourning, first published in 1992. It explores the mind of a middle-aged woman mourning the recent death of her husband at sea, in a cottage lent to her by friends in the seaside village in Victoria where she had spent her honeymoon.

A special offer on two new editions of classic novels by the late Beverley Farmer, Alone and The Seal Woman, with cover illustrations by Joy Hester. Both works were out of print for many years.
